Well – this has been a month, hasn’t it?
It was only a few short years ago, at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, that the term “unprecedented times” started appearing everywhere. And now, as we face more turbulence and uncertainty, it’s clear that the pace of change is not going to slow down any time soon – and we are in those times again. Big time.
Like many of you, I feel overwhelmed with all that is going on in our world today.
While a beach vacation may work to re-charge (which is what I did last week) there is another practice you can try.
One strategy I’ve learned over the last five years and have been practicing – sometimes with success, sometimes not, is to be prepared to be unprepared.
What does this mean? It means being comfortable not knowing the future; it means being comfortable living with ambiguity; it means taking action even though you may not know what the future holds.
