Leading at the Edge: 6 Steps to Shape the Future of Work
“Historically, pandemics have forced humans to break with the past and imagine their world anew.”
-Arundhati Roy
We are currently living through a global crisis, unlike anything we have experienced in our lifetime.
The pandemic has shown us that we are each an apprentice to change. No matter how accomplished we are, we have learned we are not masters.
We are being called upon to expand the vision of who we are and what our teams and organizations can do.
This is the edge of change where we have to sharpen our capacity to lead. It starts with each one of us.
Our full presence, wisdom, and discernment are required to create the magic of change we know is possible.
During this interactive session we will answer the questions:
- What does it mean to be an apprentice to change and lead during this time of uncertainty?
- How to break out of status quo change management thinking to discover people-centric approaches that actually work?
- Who do I need to be to step into my highest potential and shift to the new vision that the challenge is asking of us?
- What are the leadership resources, qualities, and skills I need to develop to have the impact that is required?
- How do I build the bridges to enlist our teams and our organizations to create the future of work?

The Top 10 Change Hacks
Over the last 30 years of working with diverse groups of people in many different environments, I’ve discovered that there is one thing we have in common in order to thrive: the power to break through limitations and create positive change in our world.
As Rumi, the 13th-century Sufi poet and mystic put it, "Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right doing there is a field. I'll meet you there.” This involves suspending judgment about what you feel is right or wrong about the change and developing a strategy to bring skeptical team members on board.
I hope you enjoy the conversational style of this book, gain some new insights and refresh your memory of material you may already know.
Ready...Set...Change AGAIN!
While change is a big topic, with many models, theories, processes and steps, I felt a need to have a quick and handy reference book that comes from the over 25 years of experience I have in working with people from diverse backgrounds.
Regardless of the type of audience I’ve spoken to, they needed to know how to plan for change, to improve how they handle all the changes thrown at them, how to help the people around them adapt to change – while at the same time, continuing to do all the regular work in our lives!
I hope you find it useful!
