Gregg Brown shows that it’s the simple techniques that create the biggest waves of change.
Why did I write this book?
Because change happens constantly and quickly in our lives.
While change is a very big topic, with many models, theories, processes and steps, I felt there was a need to have a quick and handy reference book that comes from the over 25 years of experience I have in working with people from diverse backgrounds.
I found that with all the experiences I had—whether it was working with inmates in federal penitentiaries, nurses in large scale hospitals or isolated, remote communities, project managers and business analysts in financial institutions, or the CEO of a large food manufacturer—they all had one thing in common: the need to understand the basics of change. Regardless of their background, they needed to know how they can plan for change, improve on how they themselves handle all the changes thrown at them—and how to help the people around them adapt to change.
Additionally, after facilitating sessions or speaking at events, people would frequently ask me for a little more detail on the basics of change. I’ve endeavoured to distill some of my responses into this go-to book.
I hope you find it useful!
